SMSMetro puts one API and one wallet in front of many SMS suppliers, so a product team can ship phone verification without integrating, monitoring and reconciling half a dozen providers themselves.
What we actually do
Suppliers of verification numbers vary constantly in price, stock and reliability, and each speaks its own protocol. We hold accounts with many of them, normalise their inventory into one catalogue, and expose it as a marketplace: every operator, pool, vendor and carrier is kept as a separate purchasable offer rather than collapsed into a single "best" price.
That choice is the product. You can let routing pick, or you can see the sources and choose — and either way you are billed from a double-entry ledger rather than a counter.
How we build
A success rate computed from three activations is noise, so we suppress it rather than print it. Availability is a band because a precise count would be stale by the time you read it.
If the source you picked sells out between listing and buying, we refuse the purchase. Quietly buying something else is the behaviour this product exists to remove.
Holds, captures and refunds are ledger entries the database itself will not let go unbalanced. Every figure on your statement traces to a record.
Suppliers
If you operate SMS infrastructure — gateways, SIM banks, phone farms, or an existing API — you can supply inventory into the same marketplace and compete on price, speed and delivered success rate. Supplier identity is never disclosed to customers, in either direction.
